I think you might need upgrades for the seal(?)'s speed and a fish finder but I know it's unfinished.
I wasn't sure there was an end-point or not but I started running out of fish and I was $200 short of the Ultra Greatrod, so I had to get the Super Rod. Then I reached the dead end again and went to bed.
SPOILERS(?) I did find a switch early on and I think it raised a gate further right/down but I'm not sure.
Also, i couldn't resist to purchase the Azure Lemon palette, but didn't know that i won't find any more fish afterwards to purchase the UltraGreat Rod, so i was basically stuck with current level of fishing equipment )
Esta muy guapo el juego. Si que me da el feelling de ser un juego de GB.
Es cierto que como un juego al que le puedas echar horas se queda algo corto, pero creo que puede arreglarse "facilmente" con un par de misiones adicionales, un poco de historia y esas cosas que se suelen agregar. Sin embargo, tampoco creo que lo necesite.
just played this for an hour before realizing i couldn't get further without the fairyrod, but i had fished everywhere so i got softlocked. very fun game, loved it.
Really smooth, fun, refreshing and calming experience. Love the way you can go deeper and deeper when you get better equipment, I got a kinda Subnautica vibe from it. The wavy effects at the water surface and underwater are pure awesomeness. The game is still at the "unfinished demo" state (no real end), but truly enjoyable already.

Hm, how am I supposed to get the third rod uopgrade if enemies no longer respawn? :-(

Turtle shouldn't be the "boss" fish, as it is easy to get. Who could be - is the monster fish, which only swims in deepest depths.
