Nice pace, decent level design, controls felt right.  Nice game.  A fun few minutes spent becoming the king of the sea.

A good short metroidvania!

Somehow I ended up getting the crown while missing one treasure causing winning scene to flicker a bit :D

was the last one the heart?

Ummm..... it's been months ago and I can't remember exactly what it was. I only remember that it was hidden on dark areas on bottom west part

I really like this game, but I think it should be easier to get the light, because I have searched for about 30-45 minutes. Please and thank you. Also I think that there should be a description for the items saying what they do and how to use it.

Definitely coming back to play this one again soon! ^^

Edit: Love playing this game... I come back every now and then to see if I can get further in the game. The fact that this is a C2 app gives me warm feelings! :) Kudos!!!

AND SO, AT LAST, HE BECAME KING OF THE SEA!!!

the only thing was missing is the description for each item you find, but it was funny anyway

This was amazing. Thanks for making it.

I really enjoyed this game. I thought the steady unlock of the map was very good and the game-play felt nice and controlled pretty well. Once again, very good game - I thought the natural progression of the game was nice. Really the only thing this game might have benefited from is a little joke or something of what you got from the chest was, but that's really up to you, and I thought it was fine without that. I really enjoyed becoming king of the sea, and nobody can take ruling the sea away from me, except for maybe Aquaman.

Thank you so much Riley! :) And Scubabear would totally destroy Aquaman in a fight ;D

its great and enjoyable ann can you add downloadable version and something like an new map

Hi, I last played this game when it was featured on Nitrome.com, and I still find it enjoyable to play, despite the lack of a map :)

Cool game!

I really enjoyed playing your game! I uploaded my experience with it to Youtube and thought it would be appropriate to share it here. Thanks for making such a short, but sweet game, I definitely look forward to playing other games you make!

Hey I just noticed I somehow missed this! Thanks for playing and making a video! :D Really kind words btw, warms my heart. :)

That's the kind of game I love!
Solid platformer, nice metroidvania.

You search and find items, use them to explore new areas, etc.

Also it sounds so easy to make such a game, so few people actually made it :-/

But this one is definitely great here!

I freaking loved it back in the day! I'm still find myself humming this music ever since. Haha

Cool, il like this kind of game, beautiful colors, nice music.
But I have few problems with controls.
In fullscreen, when the map appear, you must press "esc" for quit the map, but this quit too fullscreen.
The Xbox One pad is recognized , but the "D" and "F" is "UP" and "LEFT" directional cross.
Good job !

Hey Tetsuro, you can also close the map by pressing enter again. ;P
